Only 2 weeks into 2013 and I’m already Behind the Eight Ball…

Ok…so what’s been going on. Well there were some rejections (aren’t there always?). But this time at least one of them was the good sort. And yes, there are “good sort” of rejections. They’re the ones when you learn that your novel is terrific but not quite right for the agent, publisher etc… in question.  Call me desperate but I’ll take terrific. It’s nice to know your work impacted someone, even if they chose not to make writing a financially viable profession for you because of it.

It was a positive enough response that I’ve finally decided to try Candy Land in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel contest. Just 4 more days till that craziness begins. Fingers crossed folks
